Ralph Council Medical Building at 520 Griffin Avenue (Statenville Hwy) in Valdosta. A generous grant from SGMC is providing additional medical providers and support staff in the new location.
Beginning March 20, 2017, hours at the newly-relocated Partnership Health Center will expand to 12 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

NASW Georgia Chapter is very happy to announce a collaborative partnership with the University of Georgia School of Social Work around a licensure prep program. Dawn Apgar is the noted licensure exam preparation creator, author and facilitator.
Lunch: Brown Bag – There are a few eating venues near the testing site.
Dawn Apgar, PhD, LSW, ACSW has been helping social workers across the country pass the ASWB® examinations associated with all levels of licensure. In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs.
Dr. Apgar has done research on licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state’s social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors. In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, police, and management experience in the social work field.
