From the Desk of the COO - The last time I was at the May0r[s Council at the Turner, they had homeless and abuse shelters, emotional counseling agencies and they even had the fire dept. with "Fire Safety Awareness". They even had plenty of hot and cold sandwiches for the hungry.
It is worth your time to drop by and see what Lowndes Co. has to offer. Be sure to grab some free food while you're at it!

Southside Recreation is a partner in the Summer Feeding Service Program. Children are allowed to come for breakfast and/or lunch free of charge and not having to be enrolled in the summer program.
